Sgiliau Cyf was established in May 2016 to help young people into employment, training or education. We specialise in the creative industries and designed our programmes to engage young people through practical learning.
We have a young, dynamic workforce, who are all highly skilled in their specialist areas. We are all, enthusiastic, caring and always want the best experience for our young people!

Sgiliau Cyf is all about community. We love getting involved in extra activities to help benefit our community and develop new links with other organisations and employers, for a better learning experience for our young people.
Risca Covid-19 Volunteers
We partner with Risca Covid-19 Volunteers with the 'Tin on the Wall' project, to help collect and donate food to local charities and food banks.
Positive Parcels
During the first Covid-19 Lockdown we created parcels to improve mental health and motivation to our young people and the community.
Brynmawr Terrance Gardens
Our students helped re-design, paint and build the Terrance Gardens.
Duke of Edinburgh Award
Completed our expedition in Ebbw Vale and an overnight stay with Darren Foote, members of the Army & Navy in partnership with Tai Calon.
Volunteering
We encourage our students to volunteer in charity organisations to help others in the local community.
Art Wall Project
We are currently designing our art wall in Risca, to create a memorial to bring the community together and stronger through the difficulties of Covid-19.
Printing Project
Design your own badges, T-Shirts, any merchandise you can think of and create it!
Risca Garden Project
We are currently reaching out to the community to upcycle our garden project to improve mental health and wellbeing.
